Boston U. Alternative Spring Breakers Assist Catholic Charities

The Catholic Charities Regional Office in Panama City received some much needed “sprucing up” thanks to several Alternative Spring Breakers from Boston University. Catholic Charities was the first agency on their week-long list of non-profit organizations that benefited from the generosity of these community-minded young adults. With some assistance from local volunteers Jim Fantaski (affectionately called “The Colonel” by the students) and PC winter residents Barb and Bob Maleski, a couple of offices now have fresh paint. Additionally, the students sealed all of the linoleum flooring at the St. Barnabas Transitional Shelter and cleaned out a shed on the property. Thanks to the following for their labors of love:
