Benefit Concert in Tallahassee

The Capital City Band of Tallahassee Communnity College and The TCC Jazz Band, under the direction of band member Omar Allen, will perform a benefit concert of patriotic and American music on July 3, at 7:30 p.m. in the auditorium at the Tallahassee Senior Center.
The concert will benefit the Brehon Institute for Family Services, Inc., Catholic Charities and the Tallahassee Senior Center. “Together, our three organizations serve people throughout life – from birth through the senior years," said Debra Herman, regional director of Catholic Charities of Northwest Florida. “We all care so much about our clients, and this collaboration helps make our community stronger.”
Sheila Salyer, manager of Tallahassee’s Senior Services, encourages community residents and area visitors to come out and enjoy the concert—a great bargain at $5. Attendees will have the added benefit of viewing a new TSC art exhibit “Four Decades of Paintings” by Richard Drake. Tickets on sale at the door. Call 891-4000 for more information.
